"Voice", the "Nandoo Bhende Voice Workshops" official newsletter is a monthly e-publication which addresses the needs and aspirations of the workshop participants. The latest happenings at InSync & the Voice industry are shared with the "Voice" commuinity along with important aspects of voice modulation, the dos & donts of Voice fitness, Voice excercises, tongue twisters for clarity etc. The newsletter serves as an fine way to stay in touch with the skills acquired in the workshops and continues to strenghten the relationship between InSync and all of you. Voice: Audio CD
Voice: A CD audio recording by Nandoo Bhende and other Voice Artists.

Purpose: To give examples of good Voice modulation along with diction exercises to improve clarity.

Contents: Mr Nandoo Bhende and other Voice artists read scripts ranging from Stories to Advertising Promos Corporate narration to Documentaries. Included are Sentences for practicing vowels and consonants along with Tongue Twisters. A recording of Mimicry is included as an example of how one voice can be modulated to sound like others. There is also an exclusive interview with Mr. Bhende which talks about his various experiences in the World of Voice.

Nandoo Bhende Band
The Nandoo Bhende Band was introduced recently in its new incarnation and with a total new set list. The important feature of this band is the introduction of some of the finest young musicians of Mumbai and the debut of Akshay Bhende, the son of Nandoo Bhende, in the band. The band has since performed at the "Not Just Jazz by the bay" to a rousing reception.

Atmarang: An Audio book
Atmaram Bhende, the famous actor & director of the Marathi stage and film industry released his autobiography in audio format at a function organized by the National Association of the Blind on 7th June 2008 Recorded by Atmaram Bhende himself at the InSync Studios over a period of nearly a week, the edited audio book is over 19 hours of recorded material. The audio book has since been serialized by World Space as a weekly one hour show on Surabhi, their Marathi channel.

"Majhya Jagaat Mee": An Audio book
Dr Asha Bhende first book "Majhya Jagaat Mee" was released on 1st October, 2008, her 80th birthday by Shobhaa De at the Ravindra Natya Mandir. Recently, the audio recording of this book was completed by Dr Purnima Mane at the InSync Studios.

Amol Palekar records in InSync
Amol Palekar, the famous actor/director, recorded the songs and background music for his latest film " Samantar" in InSync Studios.

Famous playback singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sudesh Bhosle etc. recorded songs under the baton of music director Anand Modak and the arrangement of Avinash/Vishwajeet.
The Japanese Wife
The famous director, Aparna Sen recorded the background music of the "Japanese wife" in InSync Studios. Sagar Desai, the music director and a regular at Insync used novel Japanese instruments including the Koto for this film. A Japanese musician was specially flown down for this recording so that the authenticity was maintained.

Naveen, the famous flautist also recorded for this film which promises to become another feather in the cap of this incredible director.
Coba: An International Collaboration
Coba has released CDs in Europe and Japan, even reaching no.1 in the charts. After Bjork saw Coba perform in London in the late 90's, she immediately asked Coba to join her band for a world tour. Since then, he has become of the most renowned Japanese artists and he has spent 15 years regularly touring Europe. He has released 30 albums of his music to date. Coba has dramatically transformed the traditional image of the accordion into a new form, compatible with the contemporary Pop music climate. Coba is a prodigious composer who is currently working on sound tracks for films, traditional and modern Japanese theatre, TV and TV advertisements. He is based in Tokyo-Paris and London and is continually working internationally. In March 2005, Coba collaborated with InSync Studios when we produced an Indian violin section for 2 songs including his hit "Mumbai Moon" which were released in Japan for the album "CobaAir".
